Q: What do I need to take with me for swimming lessons?
You will need a bathing suit, swim cap, goggles and towels.
Fun Fins also provides goggles and swim cap if needed
Please arrive in swim ready attire.
Q: How long is the first less?
The first lession will run about 50-60 mins as we review water safety and perform an initial swimming assessment
Q:Where do you perform swim lessons?
Our backyard swimming lessons are offered in West Babylon, NY. Your backyard swimming lessons are offered within a 15 mile radius of West Babylon
Q: Will I need to get into the pool with my child?
Yes, if your child is younger than 18 months or you can be a spectator by the pool side.
Q: Will I need to be present for the entire lesson?
Yes, if your child is younger than 5 years old, you are required to be present for the duration of the lesson by the pool side
Q: Do I need a swim diaper?
Yes, swim diapers are mandatory if your child is under 3 years old or not potty trained. This is required to prevent contamination of the swimming pool.
Q: What should I do if there is bad weather or I am not able to make it?
If there is bad weather, swim lesson will be rescheduled at no cost to you.
If you are not able to make it to the lesson on that day, you are required to notifiy Fun Fins within 2 hours of the lesson
If you fail to show up for a lesson or notify Fun Fins instrutor a no show fee of $10 will be billed.
Q: How can I reschedule a lession?
You can call Fun Fins and an instructor can help you to reschedule at a more convenient date and time or you can reshedule online before 24hrs of the lesson.
Q: How do I register my child or myself for lessions?
Registration forms are available on our website in the Programs section
Q: Are swim lessons offered after the Summer?
As of now, swim lessons are only available late Spring and Summer (until early October if weather permits)
